June 6, 2006 - Montgomery Preservation, Inc. presents the Gaithersburg Inn with an award for Restoration of a 19th Century Residence for Commercial Use at their 20th Annual Montgomery Awards for Historic Preservation ceremony.

May 15, 2006 - Gaithersburg Inn receives a Certificate of Recognition from Mayor Katz and the Gaithersburg City Council "For adaptive reuse of the Thompson House, also known as Little Zoar at 104 Russell Avenue, to become the City's first Bed and Breakfast."
